One of the well know faces now in modeling buisness, Daria Werbowy came to Moscow to present Lancome. This year New York Times has announced Daria as model Nr. 1 in USA, meanwhile also magazine Paris Match gave Miss Werbowy title ” Face of the year”. ”It’s so great i have managed to be in Moscow just right on my 22th birthday!” About Moscow Daria has heard a lot form her parents, since she moved to Canada, when she was 3 years old.

I have heard you are fond of fishing. It that true?
Yes, i know its not typical for model, but i love to spend mine holidays fishing. Though in last year i didnt manage to go fishing and dad was a bit sad about that, but thats life
What is modeling for you?
Well believe or not modeling is excellent job, though it aint easy. I like that in mine 22 years i earn nice money and i can give mine family expensive and good gifts. There was time when i wanted to to take acting courses but mine parents coudnt afford that
In many magazines you are compared with Linda E. How do you refer to that?
I admire Linda. Once she told me: ”Take for mlife verything it gives while you are young and free”. This i will remember forever.
For many men you have become the ideal women. Your thoughts about this?
I am happy for that, but not thrilled. I understand there are millions of beautiful women these days, but maybe i deserve what i recieve now. In 6 o’clock in the morning i dont look my best, but make up artists, good cosmetic and cup of coffee makes the problems dissapear.

In his first design outing since his departure from the Gucci Group, Tom Ford is back at Harvey Nichols with a new range of sunglasses, sold under his own name that is surely this Winter’s most covetable eyewear. So why did Tom choose sunglasses for his first solo project? Well as far as accessories go, they’re a personal favourite.

the range there are both classic and more directional women’s frames (above left) as well as slightly rakish designs for men (above right) - as you might expect, most possess that sexy seventies styling that Tom has so successfully made his own.
